Kharkiv Institute Private Joint-Stock Company “Higher education institution “Interregional Academy of Personnel Management” trains specialists of the field 05 “Social and behavioral sciences” specialty 051 “Economics” of the second (master’s) level of higher education. The Department of Management, Finance and Administration is the graduation department for the specialty 051 “Economics”.
The specialty program 051 “Economics” is focused on the training of qualified specialists in the field of economics and management at the level of organizations, institutions (microeconomic level), and state authorities (macroeconomic level), who must objectively evaluate the economic processes occurring in society, to understand the essence and trends of the development of the economy, management, effective management of economic activities at the enterprise, ensuring its competitiveness and development, forecasting economic and social processes and phenomena on the basis of theoretical and applied models, analyzing and meaningfully interpreting the obtained results, developing information support for the management processes of the organization with using modern information resources and technologies, to develop and implement strategies and tactics for the development of the economy and economic units. Specialists of this specialty are prepared for economic, organizational-management, analytical, research, and pedagogical work in planning and economic departments of enterprises, personnel management departments, organizations of various branches; recruiting and outsourcing agencies, as well as in state bodies of executive power, institutions that carry out activities in the field of management, regulation and control of social and labor relations and social protection of the population, in particular, the State Employment Service, the Pension Fund of Ukraine, as well as organizations that carry out scientific -research activity in the field of labor, employment, social protection of the population, higher educational institutions.
The main purpose of the specialty is the training of highly qualified personnel of the upper and middle management of enterprises of all forms of ownership and state administration bodies.
