EDUCATION: in 2003 she graduated from the Faculty of History of the V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, received a full higher education in the specialty “History” and obtained the qualification of a historian, teacher of history and socio-political disciplines (master’s degree with honors). In 2008 she completed postgraduate studies at the V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. In 2011 she defended her PhD thesis on the topic “Development of Cooperative Trade in the Kharkiv Region during the NEP Years (1921 – 1929), on the basis of the public defense of the thesis she was awarded the scientific degree of Candidate of Historical Sciences in the specialty “History of Ukraine”. In 2019, she received a second higher education at Interregional Academy of Personnel Management in the specialty “Law” and obtained the qualification of a lawyer (specialist diploma with honors).
QUALIFICATIONS: in 2015, after attending courses and completing a graduation project on the topic “Development of cooperative trade in the Kharkiv region under the conditions of the NEP”, she received a certificate of advanced training at Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, 2020 (certificate PC No. 00127522 /004449-20 dated 10/29/2020), 2024 (certificate PC No. 00127522 /006274-24 dated 01/19/2024).
SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS: socio-economic, political-legal, cultural problems of the history of Ukraine and foreign countries, local history.

ACTIVITIES: preparation of publications on the specified topics, participation in international scientific conferences, supervision of students’ scientific work.
The Department of Social Sciences and Humanities has 16 teachers, including: 1 Doctor of Philosophy in the field of management and administration in the specialty “Management”, Doctor of Philosophy in the field of information systems management; 1 Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences; 1 Candidate of Historical Sciences, 2 Candidates of Law, 1 Candidate of Technical Sciences, 1 Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, 1 Candidate of Psychological Sciences, 1 Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology, 2 Candidates of Philological Sciences; 2 Professors, 9 Associate Professors, 4 Senior Lecturers, 1 Lecturer.
The Department of Social Sciences and Humanities is a general institute department that provides the educational process for students of all specialties of the Kharkiv Institute of Interregional Academy of Personnel Management.
The staff of the Department of Social and Humanities is 16 people, including: 11 (68.75%) have a doctorate, candidate of sciences, doctor of philosophy; 2 professors (12.5%), 9 associate professors (56.25%), 4 senior lecturers (25%), 1 lecturer (6.25%). All have higher education, and 7 lecturers (43.75%) have two higher educations.
By age, the department’s teachers represent the following categories: up to 40 years old – three teachers (18.75%), up to 50 years old – six (37.5%), up to 60 years old – two (12.5%), up to 70 years old – four (25%), up to 80 years old – one (6.25%). The average age of the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities is 55 years old, that is, the department organically combines youth and experience.
Several teachers have been working at the institute for a long time, for example, Rud A.A. came to the institute in 2003 and worked first as an assistant, then as a teacher, senior teacher, defended her dissertation and now works as the head of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities. Her work experience is 23 years.
Teachers are constantly improving their qualifications. Only in 2024, four teachers of the department improved their qualifications, namely: Rud A.A., Naumova A.O., Karmaza O.M., Minin M.O.
The scientific and pedagogical staff of the department ensures a high-quality educational process for students of all specialties of the Kharkiv Institute of Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, as well as scientific, methodological, educational work, paying great attention to the patriotic education of youth. The teachers of the department Rud A.A. and Karmaza O.M. lead the permanent scientific student circles “KLIO” on the history and culture of Ukraine and “DIM” on business foreign language.
The scientific and pedagogical staff of the department actively participates in international scientific conferences, in the publication of scientific articles. The teachers systematically work on the scientific topic of the department “History and modernity of statehood in Ukraine”, supervise the scientific work of students.
The Department of Social Sciences and Humanities is constantly improving the educational process in various areas, namely: legal, historical, political science, philological, information and mathematical, taking into account the requirements of modernity.
